‘Mitsumata Double Layered’ is a very special pale ecru washi. The top side for printing is made of 100% Japanese Mitsumata fiber / the back (peel-away) side is composed of pulp. * This refined paper has a smooth elegant appearance that exudes a subtle natural gloss. To use – separate the layers from one corner first and use a tube or cylinder to slowly roll the top layer in order to gently pull the layers apart. A truly special paper that is recommended for fine art, sepia tone vintage-style images, scrolls and antique reproductions . *After peeling, the printed sheet will be approximately 1/3 third the original thickness.
